Big Bear Romp Promises a Romping Good Time
Big Bear ROMP returns for its third anniversary to Big Bear, CA and with it bringing playful fun to new heights as SoCal’s biggest, beariest summer escape.
Drawing hundreds of guys from the west coast and beyond, this weekend gathering provides a unique opportunity to enjoy the rustic, natural beauty of SoCal’s premier mountain town with a full line-up of playful, adventurous events, including a special performance by CeCe Peniston, featuring hits like “We Got a Love Thang” and “Finally.” Also new this year, Emmy-award winning actor and comedian Leslie Jordan, from Sordid Lives, Will & Grace, and American Horror Story, will be performing his new 1-man show, EXPOSED, in the host hotel’s main ballroom.
Catered specially to bears, cubs, and a diverse group of gay men comfortable in their own skin, on tap is a weekend filled with mixers, dance parties, pool parties, glow bowling, comedy shows and more designed to give attendees a memorable adventure in the mountains like no other.
The official host hotel is The Lodge at Big Bear Lake (formerly Northwoods Resort), located in The Village at 40650 Village Drive, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315. Special group discount room rate booking room via their website (link available on bigbearromp.com). Many rooms feature fireplaces and whirlpool tubs, as well as poolside views. Additional lodging options are available at nearby adjacent properties. All activities are within a brief walk from the host hotel.
